Buddy Island Terms of Use

The Buddy Island app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula

The website version at buddy-island.pages.dev is free to play. It has no purchases, ads, or accounts.

Full island unlock (app only)

• Family plans renew automatically each month or year unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Free trials, if offered, turn into a paid plan at the end of the trial unless canceled first.
• Manage or cancel any time in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
• Family Sharing is on, so people in your Apple family group can use the unlock too.
• The lifetime unlock, if offered, is a one-time purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Grown-up phone (optional)

Grown-up phone is free and off unless a grown-up links a phone. It is for grown-ups only. Please do not put names or private info in chores or notes. We may limit tries, and we delete links that are not used for 120 days. We may change or stop this feature. Tasks on the device keep working without it.

Learning content

Buddy Island teaches general ideas about money, engineering, cooking, computers, shopping, gardening, and first aid for fun and practice. It is not financial, tax, medical, safety, or professional advice. Kids should do real cooking, tools, and electrical work only with a grown-up. For any real cut, burn, sting, or other hurt, tell a grown-up. In an emergency, call 911.
